Seniors

Elevate your senior year experience with a personalized photography session tailored just for you. My senior portraits capture the essence of who you are at this momentous time in your life. We'll collaborate to craft stunning images that reflect your unique personality and accomplishments. With a focus on authenticity and style, I will guide you through every step, from wardrobe selection to posing tips, ensuring you feel confident and relaxed in front of the camera. Let's create memories that will last a lifetime. Contact me today to book your senior photography session!

How it Works

1. PRE-SESSION MEETING:

Before your photo session, we will schedule a time to meet in person or on Video Call for 15 to 30 minutes. Here, we will get to know a little about each other, discuss style and expectations for the shoot. Then, we will determine the package you would like to choose, the location(s) of the shoot along with date and time. At this time, a $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold any session spot. If the date and time changes, the deposit will transfer. If the client cancels outright for any reason, the deposit is lost.

2. PHOTO SESSION:

We will meet at the agreed-upon shoot location on our specified date and time. The session length and number of outfit changes will be determined by which session was booked.

3. PHOTO SELECTION:

One to two weeks after the session, we will (preferably meet in person) look over photos from the shoot so you can select your favorites. This is to ensure you will only be paying for the photos you like, and not the ones you don't!  At this time, we can also discuss touch-ups to be made to the images including blemish fixes, color correction, and background object removal. At this meeting, we can also determine what (if any) products you would like to add - including but not limited to; custom graduation invitations, photo prints, canvases, albums, etc. More about the photo selection process here.

4. ALBUM DELIVERY:

One to two weeks after the photo selection meeting, your final edited images will be delivered to you (if you selected digital image delivery). Any other products will be delivered to you as soon as they are received from the photo printing lab (usually within 14 days of placing the order with the lab).

Before Your Session

SKINCARE:
If you plan on getting a tan, make sure it is even and avoid getting burned. Moisturize skin to get rid of dryness. Make sure to drink plenty of water and get a good night's sleep before your session. This will help you look and feel your best on the day of your portraits.

CLOTHING:
Pick attire that reflects your personality and style while also considering the backdrop of your photos. Avoid loud patterns or overly trendy clothes that might distract from your face. Bring multiple outfits, your class ring, tassel, cap and gown, jersey, letterman jacket or FFA Jacket.

PROPS:
You want your senior portraits to be unique and specific to your own personality. Consider bringing props that reflect your interests or accomplishments during your time in school. This could be sports equipment, musical instruments, academic awards, or something that gives insight to what you will be doing after graduation.

NAILS:
Your nails will show in the pictures! Ladies, make this the perfect excuse to go get a mani. If you can't make it into the salon before your shoot, make sure you at least put a fresh coat of polish on your nails and clean up your cuticles as best you can.

HAIR AND MAKEUP:
While many clients prefer to have their hair and makeup professionally done for a shoot, you do not have to spend the money on a makeover. If you would rather a friend do your makeup, do that! Just make sure to wear makeup that matches your skin tone and isn't too overpowering or too caked on.

NATURAL LIGHTING:

If possible, schedule your session during the golden hour (the hour after sunrise or before sunset) for soft, flattering light.

BRINGING BACK-UP:

Having a friend or family member accompany you can help you relax and feel more comfortable during the session. Plus, they can assist with fixing stray hairs or adjusting your outfit between shots.
